Description:

 

Desired experience or qualifications for applicants include:

Provide support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Team Submarine Program Office Support as an Engineering Analyst. Provide direct support to the PMS 415 Surface Ship Torpedo Defense (SSTD) Division through the following: participating in system installations and testing events at other hardware contractor or Government facilities. Shipboard integration support and developing program specifications; providing technical inputs to the program office for the translation of operational requirements to design parameters documented in system and interface specifications for Undersea Defensive Systems; and preparing SSTD program documentation including engineering specifications. Interacting with the fleet during the planning phase and installation phase of the SSTD system, this includes preparing for the installs and crew training including classroom and at sea.

Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.

Ability to be able to walk reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.

Ability to be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in a backpack or messenger bag in order to carry a lap top, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.

 

Qualifications:

Required experience or qualifications for applicants include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university with a course curriculum to include general engineering type courses
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 0-5 years directly related experience.
